2022, the Biennal !

It is actively preparing.

From 29 October to 1 November 2022, in Brussels.

An international biennial to exchange, confront and debate

Mobilising activists, the Biennial 2022, the third of its kind, will play its role as an open and dynamic space allowing, in confidence: knowledge, confrontation, exchange, dispute… It will potentially be the first to open up to other organisations that recognise themselves in the principles and values of the New Education, while inscribing their associative projects in action logics that may differ from those of the founding organisations.
It will potentially be the first to open up to other organisations that recognise themselves in the principles and values of the New Education, while inscribing their associative projects in the logic of actions that may be different from those of the founding organisations.
After those of 2017 and 2019, this Biennial will be a renewed opportunity to marvel at the practices and reflections of the Other, to accept doubt, to listen to criticism, to say and contradict, to meet and welcome, to give and receive, because, in a complex context in more than one respect, if it is vital that we maintain and develop our capacity for indignation and resistance, it is just as fundamental to maintain and develop our capacity for wonder, dreaming and caring. This Biennial will be exemplary, articulating times to think, times to share, times to debate, times to live
times to debate, times to live together. It will be exemplary because it will allow us to produce, to make a work of collective intelligence. Putting active education, pedagogy, at the heart of a collective space for reflection, sharing experiences and exchanges
These are the renewed ambitions of this third New Education Biennial. Read more

Resist the logic of simple adaptations when we militate for transformation! Resist commodification to reaffirm the role of public education services!
To fight against identitarian and nationalist ideologies that close us off when we are campaigning for intercultural openness…
The approach we promote is that of a global education working on the relationships between the different social times, between discontinuity and complementarity of formal and non-formal education spaces. These issues are present, in different ways, in many countries of the world. Thus, we are convinced that
we are convinced that new education can only be thought of in an international perspective that places humanism at the heart of the political project. Read more
